The persistent inability to achieve and sustain an erection strong enough for fulfilling sexual performance is known as erectile dysfunction (ED). As opposed to Viagra (sildenafil), Trimix is an injectable PDE5 inhibitor. Trimix is a mix of three drugs 'Papaverine, Prostaglandin, and Phentolamine' that are injected into the penis to improve blood flow. 53% to 100% of Trimix injections are successful.

Viagra is a PDE5 inhibitor that prevents the decomposition of nitric oxide. This allows more blood to enter the penis by keeping the blood arteries that supply it open longer. PDE5s are among the first-line ED treatments. A shared decision-making process should be used before offering men any ED treatment options, according to the American Urological Society.

The reported success rate for Viagra is 50–70%. Men with ED who have damaged blood vessels from smoking, high cholesterol, diabetes, or high blood pressure might not like their outcomes. Trimix can be used to treat ED in men, who cannot take sildenafil, do not want to take a pill, or experience disappointing results from sildenafil.

Is it possible to combine Trimix and Viagra?

In a random, controlled experiment, men who used sildenafil and Trimix Injection had higher levels of cGMP and cAMP, which indicates increased blood flow to the penis. In a different study, 453 participants were tracked for two years, ranging in age from 36 to 91.

- 417 patients were given sildenafil; 205 (49%) responded well.

- Penile injections were administered to 248 patients; 135 (54.4%) of them responded favorably to bimix, 85 (75.2%) to trimix, and 16 (57.1%) to quadmix.

- Two patients had penile implants, four patients took sildenafil+Trimix, and 12 patients remained nonresponsive.

92.2% of men who had follow-up had erections strong enough to allow penetration immediately after the clinical study, and 98.7% of men had them naturally. Researchers from a different trial noticed that combination therapy enabled patients to take less Trimix, which reduced penile discomfort.

Side Effects: Trimix vs. Sildenafil (Viagra)

Obese men could have trouble seeing their penis or getting their hands close enough to effectively inject Trimix. It may be challenging for men with poor manual dexterity to inject Trimix into the penis by them.

For men who are not in committed relationships, Viagra is a more natural approach to getting an erection and can be used without the knowledge of a partner. Although it is a little trickier to use an injection if you aren't at home, to use an injection without the knowledge of your partner, you can inject yourself 15 to 30 minutes before having sex.

In general, the common adverse effects of Viagra include headaches, flushes, and back pain. Trimix side effects are less frequent but more severe and urgent, such as priapism and Peyronie's disease with prolonged treatment.

Which is more effective, Trimix or Viagra?

More than 70% of men with erectile dysfunction respond to Viagra treatment, which is also easy to use.

Trimix works for a lot of patients, including guys who cannot take Viagra. Trimix works for more than 95% of men while Viagra only works for 70% of men with moderate to severe ED, although Trimix is generally used by men that Viagra and prostaglandin did not work well with it like comparing "Apples to Apples".

Trimix is more effective than Viagra, but because Viagra is easier to use, more men choose to use it.

Trimix is normally prescribed to those who oral drugs like Viagra and Cialis do not work for. Because Viagra is easier to take and does not require the technicality of an injection.

Which of them is Convenient to Use: Trimix injections or Viagra?

It is more convenient and easy to use Viagra. To get the full effect of Viagra you need to take it an hour before 0 having intercourse. It is also to use Viagra without your partner knowing you had any erection issues.

For a lot of men, administering Viagra orally is more convenient than self-injecting Trimix into the penis. For men who cannot take Viagra or similar drugs because they have been placed on nitrates or beta-blockers for heart disease, TriMix injections are a better option.

Trimix is administered through tiny needle injection, which is almost painless and feels more like a minor prick or immunization. After a few tries, most men find it pretty easy to self-administer Trimix injections, although it requires a little more effort than swallowing a pill.

Trimix frequently has to be refrigerated. Trimix is harder to use than Viagra because it needs to be injected into the penis. Trimix has the advantage of working more quickly than Viagra, requiring less waiting for it to take effect.

Finally, Compared to oral drugs like Viagra, TriMix injections work more quickly and last longer. Food intake and alcohol consumption have no impact on TriMix injections. Injections of trimix can start working in 15 minutes.

When taken on an empty stomach, Viagra may start functioning within 30 to 45 minutes, though it generally takes an hour to begin working.
